Shanmugapriya T

Shanmugapriya T is an Assistant Professor of Digital Humanities in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. Her research and teaching span digital humanities, digital environmental humanities, and digital literature, with an interdisciplinary approach connecting technology, culture, and literary studies. She earned her PhD in Indian English Literature and Digital Humanities from IIT Indore. Prior to joining IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, she was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Toronto Scarborough (2022–2024), an AHRC Postdoctoral Research Associate at Lancaster University, UK (2020–2021), and a SPARC Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University (2019). She also serves on the interim executive committee of DHARTI and is a Research Fellow and member of the Electronic Literature Organization.
